Our Care Services
Enhancing Independence & Wellness
At Vita Assisted Living, residents receive tailored care in order to live as independently as possible. Care services include support with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as dressing, bathing, and hygiene. Our knowledgeable team members coordinate with residents, family members, and healthcare professionals.
Memory Care Neighborhood
Our memory care program, Along the Journey, goes beyond the physical, focusing on emotional well-being, comfort, and respect for residents and families. Our dedicated staff provides compassionate support, understanding each individual's story. With a Memory Care Neighborhood for Alzheimer’s and Dementia, plus serene outdoor spaces, we're here for every step of the journey.
Short-Term Respite Care
Temporary care is available for residents who may need assistance after a hospital or rehab stay, or when caregivers plan a vacation or just need some time to relax and recharge. You will receive all of the amenities and care that you need, but for a shorter, predetermined length of stay.

Happy Resident Spotlight Friday Everyone!!
Today we are putting an extra special focus on Barbara Drudge. Barb’s roots could not go any deeper in the town of Greenfield, more specifically, the farmland that VITA was built on! Her father farmed over 100 acres of land, some of which now proudly boasts housing communities like Williams Run; which was coined after Barb’s maiden name, J.B. Stephens Elementary School, Brandywine Church, and now VITA Senior Living!
Life on the farm for Barb, and her sister Beth, consisted of quite literally everything from feeding the pigs, Holstein, sheep, and angus to tending and harvesting the crops in the fields. She loved every minute of helping out her father on the farm but her helpfulness didn’t stop there. When her mother got home from her shift at Greenfield Hospital as an RN, she enjoyed assisting her around the house with anything she needed help with.
At 21, Barb married Rex Drudge and moved into their own quaint brick home situated on the same land and just right down the road from her parents. In their new home, Barb and Rex raised two happy and healthy children, Tim and Tammy.
While wrapping up the chat with Barb, we asked about her experience here at VITA so far. She kindly expressed “I can walk around this whole building and everywhere I look there are my dad’s crops. I don’t know how I couldn’t have a good feeling here.” ❤️
